Why this page exists
Cookies keep our site working and help us understand how it's used. This page explains, in plain terms, what we store on your device and why.
It applies to everyone who visits Winkey. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the wider picture of how we handle personal information. By continuing after you set your preferences, you agree to the cookies described below. You can change your mind whenever you like.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file. A website places it on your browser so it can remember things between pages and visits.
Some cookies vanish the moment you close your browser. Others linger for a set period so we don't ask you the same question twice. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, and we treat them the same way we treat cookies. None of them can run programs or carry viruses.
The cookies we set
We group our cookies into four categories. Only strictly-necessary cookies load automatically; the rest wait for your consent.
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you logged in, secure your session, remember items during deposit and balance checks, and store your cookie choices. | Session to 12 months |
| Functional | Remember your display settings, chosen currency and interface options so the site behaves the way you left it. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Measure page visits, loading speed and where people drop off, in aggregate, so we can fix problems. | Up to 24 months |
| Marketing | Measure which promotions you've seen and help show relevant offers on other platforms. | Up to 13 months |
Durations are maximums. Many cookies expire sooner.
Consent and how to withdraw it
When you first arrive, a banner lets you accept all, reject the optional categories, or pick and choose. Strictly-necessary cookies don't need consent because the site can't function without them.
Changed your mind? Reopen the preferences panel from the banner link and adjust any category. Withdrawing consent stops future optional cookies and won't affect the lawfulness of anything processed before. Questions about a particular cookie are welcome via our support team.
Managing cookies in your browser
Your browser gives you the final say. Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete those already stored, or warn you before one is set.
Look under Settings, then Privacy or Security. On mobile, check the browser app's settings menu. Blocking everything is your right, but be aware that strictly-necessary cookies underpin login and deposits, so parts of Winkey may stop working.
Playing within your limits
Cookies help us remember any account controls you've set. If gambling stops being fun, take a break and reach out for support.
